As impressive school sites go, King’s Rochester must be towards the top of the list. Our 1400 year old school occupies an enviable site in the heart of historic Rochester between the majestic Norman Cathedral which we are privileged to use on a daily basis and the 12th century keep of Rochester Castle, widely recognised as one of the best-preserved in England or France.
King’s Rochester is a school with a long and impressive history but, even with its feet planted in such an impressive past, King’s has its head in the 21st century and its eyes on the future, with the needs of today’s pupils firmly the focus of its development plans. The school is already very well-equipped, but we have tremendous capacity for impressive improvements. With growing pupil numbers and parents expecting the very best opportunities for their children, we have mapped out our plans for the future of the school.
