The programme of intensive education is balanced by a wealth of extra-curricular activities and clubs, all designed to develop every aspect of the child whilst preserving his or her childhood before entering the Senior School.
We hope that every pupil will join at least one club or activity. These mainly take place after School, but some are during the lunch break. A full list of these and their timings is recorded in the School diary/calendar and staff use the clubs and activities board in School to announce any changes. Pupils have opportunities to participate in the following clubs or similar during the course of the year:
Clubs and activities may vary each term and those on offer have recently included Art, Athletics, Ballet, Chess, Cricket, DT, Ecology and Gardening, Film Club, Hockey, Irish Dancing, LAMDA, Lego, Maths, Minecraft, Needlecraft, Netball, Photography, Puzzle Club, Rugby, Running, Soccer, Speed-Stacking and Swimming.
There are also numerous musical activities during the course of each week which are listed in the termly calendar.
