Admissions

There are three main entry points into King's Nursery and Pre-Preparatory School.

Nursery (3+)

King’s Nursery is an educational Nursery for boys and girls who have reached their 3rd birthday by 1st September in the academic year of entry. Most children attend a minimum of 5 morning or  afternoon sessions each week or at least 3 full days.Since King's is an educational Nursery, children benefit from regular attendance and most children attend a minimum of three full days per week or five  morning sessions. This helps them to prepare for entry into Reception and full-time school in the following September. If possible, we recommend that children are attending for four full days in the Midsummer Term preceding their entry into Reception in the following September. Please call our Registrar on 01634 888590 to arrange a visit or to register for a place in Nursery.

Reception (4+)

Children may join King’s Rochester Reception Classes in the Pre Prep School in the September following their 4th birthday. Places are available to pupils from King's Nursery and also to children joining King's from other Nurseries or from home. Please call our Registrar on 01634 888590 to arrange a visit to meet the Headmistress of our Pre-Preparatory School, Mrs Openshaw.

Year 3 (7+)

Children may join King’s Rochester at 7 years of age if we have vacancies. Please call our Registrar on 01634 888590 to ask about availability or to arrange a visit to meet the Headmistress of our Pre-Preparatory School, Mrs Openshaw.
